Steps to encounter God

 

When I was with my three girls before going to the bed, I heard their conversation. 

Esther: How can I meet God? 

Grace: (without hesitation) 

First, you need to be alone in the quiet place. No distraction allowed!! 

Second, you need to be humble.

Third, you need to pray peacefully.

Fourth, you need to think about two questions

 1. Do you want to serve God? 

 2. Do you believe that Jesus died for you? 

Esther: What does it mean to be humble? 

Grace: If you need God, it means you are humble, if you don’t need God, it means you are not humble. 

While I am preparing for this week's sermon, Local Pastor school next week, and an interview, their conversation inspired me! 

I didn’t know that such steps were needed to meet God 😆
