The Awe to God (The Trinity God)

                                                                                                         Youngeun Joyce Kang

There is "the Awe to God"*when I go larger, longer, deeper, wider, and higher in every world
How great You are!
How small I am!
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to see large, humungous, and majestic nature which I can't capture the whole picture with my eyes
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to smell the long-lasting scent of Lilac, one of my favorite spring flowers, blooming again after a cold and bitter winter
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to taste a deep authentic flavored dish from lots of secret ingredients, processes, numerous recipes, and time
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to touch Mom's arms wide open to hold a newborn baby telling a mysterious birth
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to hear the beautiful orchestra music in harmony reminding me of a love song in the Trinity God.

There is "the Awe to God"1) when I try to understand the Trinity God, three persons in one God.
How great You are!
How small I am!
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to draw lots of dimensional levels which I can not imagine a higher level, even though I am looking at it.
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to blow the bubble showing my small world and God's big world
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to explain this Holy mystery to children with limited human objects; eggs, apples, cloves, and the Trinity knot
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to answer children's questions about how the Trinity God works
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to give a sermon about the Trinity God which I can feel a little bit, but still, I can not tell fully

There is "the Awe to God", when I find out how much God revealed Himself as the "Trinity God" from the beginning to the end of the Bible
How great you are!
How small I am!
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to see Ascended Jesus who left His last words "Make, baptize, and teach disciples in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"(Matthew 28:19-20)
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to smell the food Abraham, who felt the Father God's feeling about sacrificing his only son, prepared for three visitors reminding us of  the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit(Genesis 18)
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to taste Jesus' body and blood which is broken and shed for us to be closer to the Father of God, and to live within the Spirit of God(Matthew 26:26-28)
I can grasp "the Awe of God" to touch His people made in the image of God who said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness"(Genesis 1:26)
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to hear hovering the Spirit of God over the face of waters when the earth was without form and void, and darkness (Genesis 1:2)

*Rublev’s Icon "The Hospitality of Trinity"

There is "the Awe to God" when I observe Rublev's Icon "The Hospitality of the Trinity" which has a thoughtful touch of a painter, prayerful meaning of each object, and reverse perspectives 2)
How great you are!
How small I am!
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to see the Son of God who wears both the blue divinity and reddish purple of the royal priesthood, who looks at the Father of God but is well balanced between God and the Spirit, and who sacrificed himself from the love of God and His people like a cow head on the bowl.
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to see the Father of God, whose divinely blue tunic is cloaked in golden color as the Creator, who blesses the Son with blessing fingers 3), and whose head is the only one that is lifted high and gazes the other two figures
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to see the Spirit of God, who wears both the blue divinity and the green as a giver of life withholding the leaned staff symbolizing the work of God within us.
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to hear the story of Rublev who were desperate after losing everything in a war but hoped to join the holy mystery table with the Trinity God 4)
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to accept the invitation of "the Hospitality of the Trinity" who wants us to join this divine circle, the house of perfect love 5)

* Our three churches' joint worship dance team
at The Song of Hearts Music Festival (5.24.23)

There is "the Awe to God" when I play the piano with L-O-V-E chord that is the Trinity God plays within Him first, and then His disciples play within His church.
How great you are!
How small I am!
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to learn there are 8 chord types, 12 chords within it, and 4017 possible chords before we ever get into voicing
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to listen to the holy music from the Trinity God who revealed Himself "Love", who already showed three persons in one Love 6)
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to look back on my personal story with my Trinity God who is my Abba father who gives me security, my best friend who died and rose again for me, and my life who gives me the passion for giving birth spiritual children, comfort for enduring this world, and hope for experiencing the Awe to God with my all senses in the eternal life someday.
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to make harmony with our 7 notes in my family, while we are finding out which notes we are, and how to make L-O-V-E chord together for the glory of God as a family who is "preparing the way of the Lord"
I can grasp "the Awe to God" to ministry three churches through joint worship services, joint choir, and joint worship dance team to extend our perish, and build the Kingdom of God in Aroostook County

1) The Awe to God means we are overwhelmed with a deep sense of reverence, admiration, and respect for our Heavenly Father, and we realize His immense greatness, power, wisdom, and love to compare with our own smallness and vulnerability

2) Reverse perspective is to draw the front object that is smaller than the back object against a geometric view. It is called also the name Byzantine perspective from the use in Russian Orthodox Icons to see the picture from God's view, not from humans' view.
3)

4)

5) Henry Nouwen's Behold the Beauty of the Lord; Praying with Icons, p. 20-22

6) C.S. Lewis's Mere Christianity: John 4:16 says "God is Love" He can't be Love without anyone. There is evidence of the Trinity God. Because there was the Trinity God before creation, He can be Love from creation to new creation.
