Take-Off(이륙)

* Going to Korea to get surgery on the airplane 

(수술을 받기 위해 한국으로 가는 비행기 안에서) 

여행을 떠날 때 

설레이는 마음으로 즐거운 상상의 날개를 마음껏 펼치며 비행기가 뜨기를 기다린다

수술을 위해 떠날 때 

긴장된 마음으로 무엇보다 남은 나의 사람들을 위해, 그리고 나를 위해 기도하며 비행기가 뜨기를 기다린다  

이 땅의 나그네 인생 마치고 하늘 나라로 여행할 때 

어떤 이는 부인하고, 부정하며,  귀를 먹먹하게 하고 손에 땀을 쥐는 이륙의 고통을 생각하며 비행기가 뜨기를 두려워한다 

이 땅의 나그네 인생 마치고 하늘 나라로 여행할 때 

어떤 이는 가장 멋진 여행을 위해 하늘 언어를 배우고, 만나 뵐 주님 기다리며, 다시 만날 사람들 생각에 설레며, 때로 내 몸을 고통스럽게 하는 이륙의 고통과 이 땅에서 가졌던 많은 것들을 뒤로하고, 비행기 바퀴가 마치 닳아 없어질 것처럼 웽웽 거리며 달리더라도 비행기가 뜨기를 간절히 사모하며 기다린다 

 

When going on a trip, with excitement in my heart, I spread the wings of my imagination to the fullest, eagerly anticipating the plane's takeoff.

When departing for surgery, with a nervous heart, I await the plane's ascent, offering prayers for the rest of my people and myself.

When concluding life as a stranger on this earth, destined for heaven, some resist, in denial, fearful of the deafening, heartbreaking pain associated with takeoff.

When concluding life as a stranger on this earth, destined for heaven, some learn the language of heaven for this most wonderful journey, eagerly awaiting the Lord's embrace, excited to reunite with familiar faces. At times, they leave behind the pain of takeoff and the earthly burdens, feeling as though the wheels of the airplane have worn thin. Even as they run as if they might vanish, they wait earnestly for the plane to take off
