Do not fret because of the wicked;

do not be envious of wrongdoers,

for they will soon fade like the grass.

and wither like the green herb. (Psalm 37: 1-2)

Lord, I see the people not seeing my heart to You,

I am disappointed and discouraged.

Let me keep looking up to you,

not the people looking down on me

Trust in the Lord, and do good;

so you will live in the land, and enjoy security.

Take delight in the Lord,

and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37: 3-4)

I trust in you, my Lord, and do good, even though it is seen as foolish in their eyes.

I am satisfied with the land you give me and find peace in Your arms.

I am delighted with Your presence,

I have the desire that I can't have it from me but from you.

Commit your way to the Lord;

trust in him, and will act.

He will make your vindication shine like the light

and the justice of your cause like the noonday. (Psalm 37:5-6)

I commit my plans, thoughts, expectations, and limitations to you, my Lord

I trust in You, and You will act in Your ways which I can't imagine.

Even though my vindication is not perfect, it will reflect Your light.

Even though justice of my cause is not enough, it will have the light like the noonday.

I have been young, and now am old,

 yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

They are ever giving liberally and lending,

and their children become a blessing. (Psalm 37:25-26)

May I be the righteous You won't forsake

May my children not beg for bread

May my children who share your love to others

May my children become a blessing.
