안아주는 사랑

때로는 모성애보다 더한 부성애로 

안아줄 때를 놓치지 않았던 아빠의 사랑 

먹여주는 사랑

ㅌ3주가 금식하시며 힘드실 때에도

우리들 밥을 만들어 주셨던 아빠의 사랑

챙겨주는 사랑

눈에 보이지 않는 크고 작은 손길로

늘 우리를 살 수 있게 하셨던 아빠의 사랑

기도하며 응원하는 사랑

태평양 건너 보내주신 전기매트보다도 더 따뜻한

우리의 대기막이 되어주신 아빠의 사랑

좋은 것을 나누는 사랑

먹는것이든, 말씀이든, 그 무엇이든 좋다고 생각하는 것을

퍼주고 또 퍼주는 아빠의 사랑

한결같이 변하지 않는 사랑

40여년의 목회, 결혼 생활, 영성 훈련으로 

날마다 같은 길을 걸으시는 아빠의 사랑

사랑이 되신 하나님과 함께하는 찐사랑

자신이 완벽해서가 아니라 온전하신 하나님 사랑으로

하나님과 하나님 사람들을 사랑하시는 아빠의 사랑

일곱가지 사랑으로 

70년을 채우시며 살아오신 아빠 

사랑해요!

With a father’s heart—sometimes even deeper than a mother’s— 

A love that never missed the right moment to hold us close.

The Love that Feeds 

Even during your three-week fasts when your strength was fading, 

You were there in the kitchen, preparing our meals with love.

The Love that Provides 

With unseen hands, tending to matters both great and small, 

A love that quietly made it possible for us to live and thrive.

The Love that Prays and Cheers 

Warmer than the electric blankets you sent across the Pacific, 

A love that served as our shield, protecting us from the cold winds of life.

The Love that Shares the Best 

Whether it was food, the Word of God, or anything good, 

A love that kept giving, pouring itself out over and over again.

The Love that is Steadfast

Through forty years of ministry, marriage, and spiritual discipline, 

A love that walks the same faithful path, day after day.

The "Real" Love with God, who is Love 

Not because you were perfect, but because of God’s perfect love, 

A love that genuinely cherishes God and His people.

Dad, you have filled seventy years of life 

With these seven kinds of love.
