주님과 동행하는 하루

아침에 시작하는 새 하루 죽음을 이긴 주의 부활을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

세수하며 예수와 함께 죽고 예수와 다시 사는 예수님의 세례를 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

식사를 하며 자기 몸을 내어주시고 피 흘리신 예수님의 사랑을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

일터로 향할 때 신의 몸으로 이 땅에 오시어 죽기까지 순종하신 예수님의 사명을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

설거지를 하며 우리를 정결하게 하시는 예수님의 보혈을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

청소를 하며 더러운 우리의 모든 죄를 기억하게 하시고 그 죄를 다 짊어지신 예수님의 십자가를 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

빨래를 하며 때묻어 뒤엉켜 있는 우리의 복잡한 삶을 깨끗하게 바로 잡아 단순하게 만드시는 성령님을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

아이들을 씻기며 우리의 발을 씻겨주신 예수님의 헌신을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

모든 일을 마친 후에는 아기 예수님을 껴안고 평안히 쉼을 청했던 시므온을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

잘 때에는 엿세 동안 일하시고 일곱쨋날 안식하셨던 하나님을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서 

모든 호흡이, 모든 삶의 순간이 주님과 동행하는 삶임을 묵상하며 감사하게 하소서

Lord, let me remember Jesus’ resurrection overcoming death as I wake up every morning

Lord, let me remember my baptism of water and the Holy Spirit as I wash my face

Lord, let me remember the communion of Your body given for me and Your blood shed for me as I have every meal 

Lord, let me remember Jesus’ ministry on earth as I work hard during the day

Lord, let me remember that You cleanse all our sins with your blood as I wash the dishes

Lord, let me remember that You sweep away all my sins on the cross as I sweep the dust

Lord, let me remember that You make it right and clean all my complex problems as I do laundry 

Lord, let me remember You washed Your disciples’ feet with love as I wash my children’s feet with your love

Lord, let me remember Simon who died in peace when God kept His promise after he saw Jesus as I end my day

Lord, let me remember God blessed the seventh day and rested from all His work of creation as I rest in my bed every night

Lord, let my all breath and every single moment be my daily prayer to walk with you!

Lord, let us remember God blessed the seventh day and rested from all His work of creation as we rest in our bed every night
