My Lenten Journey

In the first week of Lent, 

With my children,

I plant the seeds

With hope for growth in them and us

In the Second week of Lent, 

With my children,

I see some sprouts 

With awe for transformation of life 

In the Third week of Lent, 

With my children,

I see how fast the seeds are growing

With vision for fruit and blooming flowers

In the middle of Lent

With my children, 

I see what parts they have been growing, 

What parts they need to grow more

In the middle of motherhood 

With my children,

I see what parts I have been growing,

What parts I need to grow more

In the middle of our lives 

With my children,

I see how God has given us joy 

With hope for God to answer our prayers 

On Easter Sunday 

With my children,

Let me see the life from spiritual transformation 

While seeing life from Jesus’ resurrection
