일곱식구 모인 식사 자리가 늘 웃음이 끊이지 않게

재치있는 유머로 우리에게 안정감과 기쁨을 주는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다.

서로 다른 문화, 생각, 경험, 기준 속에서

상대를 존중하며 들으면서도 자신의 생각을 겸손하고 정중하게 표현하며 대화를 하는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다.

어린아이들에게는 놀면서 어른들에게는 함께함으로 

옆에 있는 사람을 편하게 쉴 수 있게 해주는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다. 

목소리를 내지 않으며 기도하며 기다릴 때와

목소리를 내며 평화시위 팻말을 들 때를 아는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다. 

평화의 근원이 되시는 주님과 날마다 함께하며

그 평화를 삶으로 말씀으로 나눠주는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다.

평화가 없어 하나님께서 도대체 무엇을 하고 계시냐 묻는 우리 아이들에게

부드럽지만 때로는 평화를 위해 싸울 수 있는 강인한 평화수호자의 삶을 보여주는 

당신은 우리의 평화입니다.

When our family of seven gathers to eat, 

You keep the laughter flowing with your quick wit and humor, giving us a sense of security and joy. 

You are our peace.

Amidst different cultures, thoughts, experiences, and standards, 

You listen with respect, yet express your own heart with humility and grace. 

You are our peace.

A playmate for the little ones, a steady companion for the adults

You create a space where everyone beside you can truly rest. 

You are our peace.

You know the sacred time to pray and wait in silence, 

And you know the time to raise your voice and hold a sign for justice. 

You are our peace.

Walking daily with the Lord, the Source of all Peace, 

You share that peace through your life and through your words. 

You are our peace.

To our children, who ask where God is when peace seems lost, 

You show the life of a gentle yet fierce protector of the peace. 

You are our peace.
